Having not been raised in a Christian home, Lorne did not know what to expect when the Lord called him. At sixteen years of age, the thought of salvation was overwhelming enough. He had no idea of what being a follower of Christ would entail. At first, he was placed at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, where the Lord blessed him with amazing friends and mentors to guide his growth. Soon thereafter, Lorne spent four years bouncing back and fourth from North Greenville University and Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters. In both places he feels like the Lord engulfed him with amazing teachers, mentors, friends, and family. The community he was able to experience can only be described as God ordained.
