History:

The McClouds were married March of 2007, and both of them knew that our lives would be submissive to the call of God wherever that may be. Just a few months after their wedding they were presented with the opportunity to serve alongside Jen's brother, Adam Vinson, in the town of Zarnesti, Romania. His burden for these people has become ours. The McClouds know that God desires this move for their family although it will be hard to leave so many family members behind.

Maggie is the new addition to the McCloud family and her parents are excited to see how God will use her to open more doors of service in Romania. They are already convicted of their selfishness and learning the selfless call of being a parent. They ask the Lord to use Maggie to make them selfless in all areas of their lives.

Strategy:

Adam and Jen are currently stateside, ministering in Griffin, GA. They are helping Jen's brother and sister-in-law, Adam and Lauren Vinson, with the middle school, high school, and college groups.

The "Lord willing" leave date to Romania will be the summer of 2010. Adam desires to study online seminary courses while we are serving in Zarnesti, Romania, but this will increase the financial support necessary to live over there. When we return to the States, we hope to serve in collegiate ministry and these courses will be necessary to do so.

Prayer Requests:

  • That we may be diligent to pray and prepare for this mission in the midst of everyday life.
  • That we will gain full financial support.
  • To have the support and excitement of our family as we prepare to leave.
  • For our family to feel God's comfort while we are gone and learn of His sovereignty over our lives.
  • For us to learn more about serving and loving each other as Christ desires for marriage to be.
  • For us to learn humility.
